Moving to a New Host

I am moving from A Small Orange to Dreamhost, and so far the switch has been pretty smooth / error free. A Small Orange is a great host and they’re super affordable but I have outgrown the account I am on and I needed some of the features on Dreamhost that they dont provide, mainly webdav. I have used DreamHost in the past and liked the service I received, I did not however like the way the control panel was setup and wait times on adding sites/databases. A lot of the issues have been fixed and for most sites there plans fit perfectly.

In the process of moving I have been upgrading a bunch of sites to the latest versions of WordPress. Which thankfully has tagging built in but this means the scheme I used before to organize my sites [ categories = tags ] is now an absolute mess on some sites.

Note: I haven’t been living under a rock and I do know that DreamHost can be pretty stingy when it comes to using a lot of your bandwidth but what shared hosting plan isnt.
